Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the EdiQ platform (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including students, freelancers, and institutional partners.

2. The Academic Job Exchange

EdiQ provides a marketplace (the "Exchange") where users can post and fulfill academic-related tasks and freelance opportunities.

• User Responsibility: Users are solely responsible for the quality, legality, and delivery of services offered through the Exchange.
• Academic Integrity: Users must not use the Exchange to engage in academic dishonesty, including but not limited to plagiarism, cheating, or completing graded assessments for others. EdiQ reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate academic integrity policies.
• Transactions: EdiQ facilitates payments but is not a party to the individual contracts between users.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any local, state, or international laws.
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Attempt to bypass the platform's payment systems or security measures.

4. Payments and Fees

EdiQ may charge service fees for transactions conducted through the platform. All fees will be clearly disclosed before a transaction is completed. Users are responsible for any taxes associated with their earnings on the platform.

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided by EdiQ, including logos, software, and AI-generated study aids, is the property of DIGITCAN and protected by intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of the original content they upload but grant EdiQ a license to host and process that content to provide our services.

6. Limitation of Liability

EdiQ is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any disputes between users, failed transactions, or data loss. In no event shall EdiQ's liability exceed the total fees paid by the user in the preceding six months.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the platform's interests.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
